The Mathematics Education for the Future Project is presenting at the 2020 BE-MTS
International Research Conference in the Philippines, May 2-4, 2020.

The two Project Coordinators of the Mathematics Education for the Future Project have been invited to speak at the important international conference (below) in the Philippines in May. In fact four of the speakers from our 15th International Project Conference in Maynooth University, Ireland last year will be speaking at the conference, three of them making Plenary presentations: Janina Morska, Katarzyna Banach and Malgorzata Mart.

I was invited to give a Plenary talk at The Philippine Council of Mathematics Teacher Educators, Inc. (MATHTED) international conference, Oct 24 – 26, 2013, University of St. La Salle, Bacolod City, Philippines where Janina Morska also spoke to local teachers. We both found the conference and the country to be a very friendly and rewarding experience, and we are looking forward to returning in May this year.

We strongly encourage colleagues in maths and science education to consider attending the conference to communicate your own research and ideas and to experience the work and research being done locally in the Philippines, Asia, Australia, South Africa and the Pacific Islands!
