Three on-going international initiatives

Dear friends and colleagues, apologies for cross-posting,

We hope that you and yours are safe and well in these perilous times.

The Mathematics Education for the Future Project was founded in 1986 as an independent, educational, non-commercial and philanthropic association to create and disseminate innovative materials and methods for mathematics, science, statistics and computer education.

This email briefly summarises three of our on-going activities which we hope will be of interest and of use to you.  Please get in touch if you need further details of any of these international initiatives.

(1) The International Directory of Mathematics Educators  http://www.DirectoryMathsEd.net  helps educators keep in touch world wide. The Directory has one Main File, containing all individual names in alphabetical order, and also 85 files listing individuals country by country.  We warmly invite those not on the list to submit their entry.  Please suggest to your contacts that they send in their entries, new countries can be added if necessary!

(2) DQME (Developing Quality in Mathematics Education) is an enormous resource of 4650 original, stimulating and motivating maths problems/worksheets/applications developed and written by teachers and tested and retested in schools in 11 countries in 10 languages over the six year period of the EU funded DQME Project.
The materials are classified in topics, age group and language and can be freely downloaded and used immediately in classrooms or for online learning.
We are delighted to report that in the past month more than 1000 new people have registered and are downloading materials for their students.
How it works:

Enter the webpage https://directorymathsed.net/dqme/
Read the Data Privacy Policy carefully and then click on the Accept button
Click on your country-language flag on the next page with all 11 countries' flags
Click Register Now and fill in and Submit your details especially your email address
Click on Material to see the full list of maths problems/worksheets/applications in your language
Use your email address and password to log in again in future and click Submit to re-activate your account.
